We are currently looking for experienced disability support Workers on the Brisbane South East to provide in home and community services and a Business Development Manager to helps us reach & support more participants.

About The Role

Are you an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys supporting teams and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly?

Hope & Care Community Services is an established, grassroots organisation dedicated to supporting people with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

We are seeking an Administrative Officer to support our operations team by assisting with rostering, documentation, property coordination, and day-to-day administrative tasks that help ensure services run smoothly across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Manage correspondence, emails, phone calls, office supplies, and records.
  • HR Assistance: Provide administrative support to HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and compliance.
  • Rostering Assistance: Assist with service scheduling and help resolve shift conflicts.
  • Property Maintenance: Oversee property maintenance, inspections, and keep accurate records.
  • Asset Management: Maintain asset registers for organisational resources (vehicles, mobiles, phone and internet services).
  • Timesheet Approvals: Manage and approve staff timesheet.

  • Have admin experience, ideally in healthcare or community services
  • Communicate clearly and professionally
  • Solve problems, adapt under pressure, and work collaboratively
  • Are confident with Microsoft Office and Windows

What We Offer

  • Ongoing, consistent shifts
  • 6:00am–2:00pm and 2:00pm–6:00am rosters
  • Minimum 24+ hours per week available

Minimum Requirements

  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • Blue Card
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module – “Quality, Safety & You”
  • Driver’s Licence
  • Own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Infection Control Certificate

About The Role

Are you experienced in recruitment and enjoy building high-performing teams while supporting workforce operations?

Hope & Care Community Services is a grassroots organisation supporting people with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities. We’re seeking a Workforce & Recruitment Coordinator to lead recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning while ensuring our services are staffed with the right people at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment, from advertising to selection and onboarding of support workers
  • Build and maintain a strong workforce pipeline to meet current and future service demands
  • Oversee rostering processes in collaboration with our Scheduling Officer to ensure coverage, compliance, and continuity of care
  • Ensure all workforce compliance requirements are current (NDIS Worker Screening, training, certifications)
  • Maintain accurate staff records and workforce data
  • Act as a key contact for workforce-related queries and support operational leaders
  • Assist with audits and quality assurance processes

You’ll Thrive In This Role If You:

  • Have proven experience in recruitment or workforce coordination (NDIS, healthcare, or community services preferred)
  • Understand workforce compliance requirements in the NDIS environment
  • Can manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Are confident with Microsoft Office and rostering or workforce management systems
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, with strong problem-solving skills

Tasks And Responsibilities

  • High personal care supports
  • Medication administration and PEG feeding
  • Manual handling / hoisting experience
  • Bowel care and enema
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience with high physical care is highly desirable but not essential
  • Must be willing to provide overnight supports in client’s home.
  • Assistance with daily living tasks such as meal preparations etc.

Skills And Experience

  • Blue card and Yellow Card
  • Police clearance certificate
  • Queensland open license and a personal vehicle
  • Certificate 3 in Individual supports, Tertiary qualifications in relevant community discipline will be highly regarded
  • Nursing background is highly regarded
  • Ability to do shift work including nights and weekends
  • Smartphone
