Role Overview
We do not have sponsorships available. Flexibility and the ability to work a minimum of 30 hours a week is essential for this role.
Hours of work:

Job Description
Key Care & Support are looking for an experienced and passionate Support Worker to join our team to Support Sammy in the family home based in Altrincham.
Requirements
- Drivers with a UK Driver's Licence and 12 months UK Driving experience is required (with use of the family's car)
- Minimum of 2 years experience supporting adults with enhanced needs.
- "Sammy" has Learning Difficulties, multiple medical needs, is non-verbal, uses an iPad to communicate and hand signs, can make needs known.
- Must be flexible to cover days and nights.
Responsibilities
- You will be positive, person-centred and committed to the highest standards of care and support.
- Work collaboratively with Sammy's family and professionals.
- Support Sammy to develop skills, make choices and have a strong voice in decisions about his life, routines and activities.
- Ensure support is proactive, respectful and focused on quality of life.
- Ensure a consistent and reflective approach.
- Understand why behaviours occur and respond in ways that reduce stress and promote well-being.
