DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS

£13.75 per hour | Full-Time | Blackadder Place, Edinburgh

Join Blackadder Place in Edinburgh as a Support Worker and play a key role in providing high-quality care and comfort to our service users.

A home, not just a service

Blackadder Place is home for seven adults with physical disabilities. We’re in the north of Edinburgh and have local shops, restaurants, churches and a library to enjoy. We also have good transport links into central Edinburgh.

Your working hours

We offer full-time hours, 37.5 per week – typical shifts: 7:00am-3:00pm and 1.30pm - 9.30pm.

  • Support with daily living tasks such as personal care, mealtimes, and medication
  • Encourage independence through a person-centred approach
  • Provide support and encouragement to engage in community activities
  • Most importantly – help each person live life on their own terms

Previous care experience is essential

We provide specialist support across residential care, supported living, and respite services for people with physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, sensory impairments, and learning disabilities.
