SUPPORT WORKERS NEEDED WITH GREAT EXPERIENCE in PBS, TRAUMA BASED CARE AND BEHAVIOURS THAT CHALLENGE! IS THIS YOU?
The service opened in summer 2025, supporting young adults to transition to their very own assisted living home. We are working towards being fully occupied, and need more care professionals to join the team.

We are also focused on our people. We will provide you with all the training, support, and PPE you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to further your career with us.
We’re currently expanding our already well-established team and are looking for an experienced mental health support worker to join us. While having a full UK driving license is desirable, it’s not essential for this role. We have welcomed more individuals into their service, and we want to ensure we continue to have the right support in place to provide high-quality support.
Strong experience in mental health, autism, and sensory communication, and physical health is important. It's best to have experience in using PBS methods, but we will support you to gain qualifications while working in the service anyway.
We will help you develop your talents with a range of specialist training, including the opportunity to learn Positive Behaviour Support methods (PBS), Makaton, and the Picture Exchange System.
During the recruitment process, you will get to meet the people we support in their own home. This will allow you to see their wonderful personalities first-hand and fully understand the level of support that they require.
The people we support are unique, and have support needs ranging from learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, mental health, and other complex needs, which could mean that they sometimes display behaviours that can challenge. It's our mission to ensure the people we support can, and do, lead their best life possible!
You will know how to connect with people and be passionate about supporting people to live independently. You will also be a brilliant team player and share your skills and experiences with your colleagues.
