We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team in the Stratton St Margaret area of Swindon. Working across supported living and outreach services, you will provide person-centred support, promoting independence, choice, dignity, and wellbeing while enabling people to live fulfilling lives in their own homes and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support people with daily living tasks, including cooking, cleaning, shopping, budgeting, and attending appointments.
- Provide personal care where required and support individuals to maintain their health and wellbeing.
- Administer medication in line with training and organisational policies.
- Encourage independence, choice, and community participation.
- Follow support plans, risk assessments, and positive behaviour support strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation.
- Identify and report safeguarding concerns promptly.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
Essential Requirements
- Caring, compassionate, and reliable approach.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Basic IT skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Commitment to promoting equality, inclusion, and person-centred support.

Desirable
- Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, or physical disabilities.
- Health and Social Care qualification (Level 2 or above).
- Full UK driving licence.
The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting people to achieve their goals, maintain independence, and lead meaningful lives.
