About The Role
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will work alongside people to help them build confidence, develop independence and achieve the goals that matter most to them. This is not a personal care role. Instead, you will focus on supporting people to live fulfilling lives, maintain their wellbeing, develop practical life skills and access opportunities within their local community.
This is a vibrant 24-hour service supporting adults with mental health challenges.
Every day is different, but you may be supporting people to:
- Build confidence and maintain their independence
- Develop daily living and tenancy skills
- Plan and achieve personal goals
- Access education, volunteering or employment opportunities
- Attend appointments and engage with health professionals
- Take part in social activities, hobbies and community events
- Manage household responsibilities such as budgeting, shopping and meal planning
- Maintain positive routines and wellbeing strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with friends, family and their local community
- Develop skills that help them live the life they choose
You will also work closely with colleagues and external professionals to ensure people receive consistent, person-centred support that promotes recovery, independence and wellbeing.

Hours
2 Full time positions available. 39 hours per week.
We offer a range of shifts between 8:00am and 10:00pm.
Sleep-in shifts run from 10:00pm to 8:00am and are usually combined with either an early or late shift.

This service is conveniently located just five minutes from Crayford town centre, with:
- Off-street parking available
- Local bus routes nearby
- Easy access to local amenities
About You
We are looking for friendly, hard-working people with a fun spirit and a good sense of humour to join our team of support staff.
