Job Introduction

Support Worker – Supported Living – part time, Monday to Sunday shifts (alternate weekends)

Are you passionate about helping autistic adults and those with learning disabilities achieve their desired potential? Autism Anglia, a well-established independent charity, is looking for Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Supported Living.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with individuals to help them develop life skills, achieve personal goals, and thrive in a safe and supportive environment.

For this role it is essential that you have a Full UK Manual Driving License.

Salary

£13,515.47 per annum (£12.96 per hour)

Hours

Part-time only: 20 hours per week (overtime available)

Please note, unfortunately we do not offer sponsorships and candidates must have the eligibility to work in the UK.

About The Role

  • Work in partnership with the wider Supported Living Team to provide person-centred, outcome-focused support
  • Support individuals we support in a variety of activities, including sport, leisure, cultural and recreational events, day trips
  • Assist with communication, sensory support, or psychological monitoring and interventions
  • Drive mobility vehicles, therefore you must have a Full UK Manual License
  • Ensure all support plans, risk assessments, and documentation are accurate, up-to-date, and reflective of individual needs
  • Follow Safeguarding procedures and act promptly on any concerns

We Welcome Applications From Individuals Who

  • Have experience as a Support Worker, Carer, Senior Support Worker, or Team Leader
  • Have experience working with Autistic individuals, or are able to demonstrate a strong understanding of Autism
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Are experienced in providing intensive behavioural support.
  • Have strong communication skills and experience coordinating activities in the local area
