About The Role
This Support Worker role in Penryn, Cornwall, offers £15.34 per hour on a full-time basis of 37 hours weekly. DBS Required
We are recruiting for a Support Worker to join a supported housing service in Penryn, working with adults with complex needs.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll provide person-centred support, helping individuals build confidence, maintain independence and achieve positive outcomes.
The Role
- Provide tailored support to adults with complex needs
- Develop and maintain support plans
- Complete risk assessments and risk management
- Encourage independence and community engagement
- Support access to social, educational and employment opportunities
- Maintain accurate records and case notes
- Work closely with colleagues and external agencies
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures
- Undertake lone working as required

About You
We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Has experience within support work, supported housing, homelessness or complex needs
- Understands support planning and risk management
- Can build rapport while maintaining professional boundaries
- Is confident working independently
- Is resilient, adaptable and comfortable working under pressure
- Has good IT and record-keeping skills
- Can work flexibly across the rota, including weekends and bank holidays
