The Vacancy

Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We’re looking for a caring and motivated Support Worker to join our 24/7 supported housing projects in the Pontypridd area.

You will provide both emotional and practical support (no personal care) to young men and women aged 16–24 with complex needs, helping them build the skills and confidence to move on into their own accommodation.

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine passion for supporting young people to reach their potential.
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential – full training will be given.
  • Willingness to work a rota that includes days, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins (with additional payment).
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Proof of right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship visas).

Additional Information

  • Roles are subject to an Enhanced DBS check (Adult & Child Workforce), paid for by the company if required.
  • Part-time hours available with additional payments for sleep-in shifts.
  • A rewarding opportunity to be part of a supportive team making a positive difference in young people’s lives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
