$24.68 - $30.13 per hour depending on relevant qualifications
Part time - 32 hours a fortnight
Schedule - Monday, Wednesday and Thursday every week, 9am to 3pm.

As a Support Worker in our Community Hub, you'll help create fun and engaging days for people with intellectual disabilities. Supporting people to build friendships, explore their interests, and develop new skills.
No two days are the same! One day you might be supporting a group to participate in art, music, cooking, or fitness activities, and the next you could be helping people enjoy outings and events in the wider community. The focus is on creating opportunities for people to have fun, make social connections, and take part in activities that are meaningful to them.
Creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for supporting people to thrive are key to success in this role. Previous experience is not essential. If you enjoy working with people, have a positive attitude, and are passionate about helping people with intellectual disabilities live great lives, we'd love to hear from you.

- A positive can-do attitude and genuine interest in working in the disability sector
- Be patient, creative, self-driven and show leadership skills
- Have confidence and a calm approach when supporting challenging behaviours
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfortable using computers and tablets
- Physical capability to provide hands-on support and participate in activities
- A Full NZ driver’s licence
- Experience with community mapping is a bonus
