Each day will be different, and the main focus of your role is to provide daily support to adults in our residential services. It’s definitely not a normal 9-5, you can work days, nights, and flexible shifts too. Talking of ‘dream’ jobs, some of our shifts are sleep-ins!

About You
About The Role
Key Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support that empowers individuals to live independently, achieve their goals, and participate fully in their communities.
Key Duties Include
- Delivering personalised support in line with care plans, risk assessments, and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans.
- Promoting independence, choice, dignity, equality, and inclusion.
- Supporting individuals with daily living skills, education, employment, volunteering, and social activities.
- Assisting people to maintain positive relationships and engage in community life.
- Supporting physical and mental wellbeing, including attending healthcare appointments and promoting healthy lifestyles.
- Providing personal care, mobility support, and assistance with meals and specialist equipment where required.
- Administering and recording medication safely in accordance with policies and training.
- Supporting individuals with complex needs using proactive, positive behaviour support approaches.
- Safeguarding individuals by recognising and reporting concerns promptly and promoting personal safety.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment, including household tasks, meal preparation, and health and safety responsibilities.
- Keeping accurate and timely records, including daily notes, health records, incidents, and financial transactions.
- Supporting individuals with budgeting and managing finances where appropriate.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
- Contributing to quality assurance, compliance, training, and continuous service improvement.
