At Nova Care Group, we know that supporting a young person through crisis and complexity takes more than experience on paper.

It takes patience, resilience, the ability to stay calm when things are difficult, build trust when trust doesn't come easily and look beyond behaviour to understand what might be driving it.

We know this because our organisation was founded on lived experience. We've seen first hand how much difference the right people, at the right time, can make in a young person's life.

Now we're looking for people who want to make that difference too.

The role

We want to be honest with you, this isn't always an easy job but it will always make a difference.

The young people we support have experienced significant challenges in their lives and often communicate their experiences through behaviours such as aggression, absconding, sexualised behaviours, self-harm, criminalisation or withdrawing from others.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Your role is to stay calm, consistent and compassionate. To set clear boundaries, build trust and look beyond the behaviour to understand what a young person may be experiencing.

There will be challenging times, difficult conversations and times when progress feels slow. Then there are the moments that make it all worthwhile.

Seeing a young person begin to trust you, watching them manage something they couldn't before, seeing their confidence grow, their behaviour stabilise or taking another step towards independence.
