We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Jubilee Mews on a part-time basis (30 hours per week) for a 4-month fixed-term contract.
- Time and a third (1.3x hourly rate) for hours worked after 8pm and on Saturdays
- Time and three fifths (1.6x hourly rate) for Sundays and Bank Holidays
Please note: This role is not eligible for sponsorship as it does not meet the requirements set out by UK Visas and Immigration.
About The Role
Jubilee Mews is a specialist 24-hour adult mental health service supporting people who experience complex mental health needs and may face multiple, interconnected challenges in their daily lives. Many of the people we support have experienced significant trauma, and some may communicate distress through behaviours that challenge. We believe that behaviour is a form of communication, and we focus on understanding the individual behind it.
As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in helping people build confidence, develop independence and take positive steps towards their personal recovery goals. Working alongside Mental Health Nurses, Clinical Leads and a wider multidisciplinary team, you will provide compassionate, person-centred support that promotes wellbeing, stability and empowerment.
Our approach is based on collaboration, trust and positive risk-taking. We work in the least restrictive way possible, providing "just enough" support to enable people to grow in confidence, develop skills and move towards greater independence within their community.

As Jubilee Mews operates 24 hours a day, this role involves working a rota that includes days, evenings, weekends and waking night shifts.

You Will Ideally Have
- Experience of working with people with complex mental health needs, including those who may present behaviours that challenge.
- A passion for supporting people to achieve their goals and reach their potential.
- The ability to build positive, trusting and professional relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- An understanding of professional boundaries and safeguarding responsibilities.
- A flexible and positive attitude towards supporting people in a 24-hour service environment.
