Suffolk Independent Living is looking for a Support Worker in Saxmundham.

Although this job description is correct at present, it may change from time to time after negotiation with you.

You must have the right to work in the UK to apply for this role, sponsorship not available.

About me

I am a 21-year-old young man who lives with my family in Saxmundham. I like to keep myself active, so I go to college 3 days a week. I love sports, especially football, and I used to be a good player! I like to follow football leagues, and playing FIFA on the PlayStation is one of my favourite hobbies. I also like clothes, fashion, playing pool, going to the cinema, and taking long walks. I have a mild learning difficulty and OCD, and so I need support to access activities in the community. I’m looking for a support worker who can give me guidance and reassurance when I need it. Someone who understands OCD and learning difficulties would be very helpful.

Please be aware that I’d prefer support workers not to take photos whilst they are supporting me. If you need to use your phone, please could you let me know in advance, so I know you aren’t taking pictures of me.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
