Support Worker - Non-Specialist Services
Location: Carmarthen, SA31 3JD
Salary: Up to £13.45 per hour
Contract: Full-time and part-time available
Shift Pattern: Days, Evenings, Weekends and Nights

At M&D Care, we are looking for compassionate and motivated Support Workers to join our family oriented organisation, and join Residential Services across South Wales. You will support adults with learning disabilities, autism and additional support needs to live fulfilling, independent lives within a supportive residential home environment.

What You will Be Doing
Every day is different, but your role may include:
- Supporting people with everyday living activities
- Promoting independence and life skills
- Encouraging participation in hobbies and interests
- Supporting access to community activities and activities in the home
- Providing emotional support and encouragement
- Assisting with personal care where required
- Supporting with medication administration
- Maintaining accurate records
- Working closely with families and healthcare professionals

You will be supporting adults who need support to carry out their daily activities. Our homes provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where individuals are encouraged to develop their independence, make their own choices and achieve goals that are important to them. Essential
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work flexibly across a rota, including weekends and sleep-ins.
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable - not essential
- Previous experience working within care or support services.
- QCF Level 2 or 3 Health & Social Care qualification
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities or autism.
You do not need previous care experience to join our team. We are looking for caring, motivated individuals with the right values and a genuine desire to make a difference. Through our comprehensive training and ongoing support, we will help you develop the skills and confidence needed to thrive in the role.
