ILS Engineer
Location: Portsmouth – Hybrid.
Salary: £50,000 / £65,000 + package.
Job Type: Permanent
We’re supporting a growing engineering business working on complex defence and maritime systems, and they’re looking for an experienced ILS Engineer to join their team.
The Role
As an ILS Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering a range of Integrated Logistics Support and supportability activities, working closely with engineering, project and technical teams.

You’ll be involved in areas including:
- Delivering ILS and supportability activities across the system lifecycle
- Producing ILS plans, logistics data and technical documentation
- Carrying out supportability, reliability and maintainability analysis
- Supporting bids, estimates, Statements of Work and risk assessments
- Developing maintenance strategies and support solutions
- Managing logistics data, spares and provisioning activities
- Supporting in-service support and through-life support requirements
- Working closely with engineering, training and technical publications teams
- Supporting customer queries, investigations and technical issues
- Applying relevant defence standards and processes
