Supported Housing - Core Coordinator (MOUP)
Salford, Manchester
£29,471.62 per annum
Permanent, Full Time (35 hours per week)

MOUP Hours: 35 hours per week, with services operating between 7:45am and 8:10pm, Monday to Sunday worked on a shift rota including 2 on 2 off weekends and shifts across the week. Shifts are either 7:45am to 4:45pm (Early), 10:00am to 6:00pm (Flexi) or 11:10am to 8:10pm (Late).

This role will help us achieve our ambition by working as part of a team within supported housing and outreach services in Greater Manchester, providing high-quality, personalised housing-related support and enablement support to young adult clients.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Using coaching and strengths-based approaches to enable clients to develop emotional resilience, overcome barriers, promote independent living and take control of their lives.
- Taking a lead on liaising with external agencies and raising safeguarding concerns in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Completing Positive Behaviour Plans, Support Plans, Essential Profiles and Risk Assessments.
- Managing a caseload of clients, with workloads determined by client needs and service demand.
- Supporting the Project Manager to ensure all aspects of housing management, housing-related support and enablement support are delivered to a high standard.
- Working as part of a supported housing team to provide high-quality personalised support to young adults with ADHD and ASD, alongside clients with substance misuse support needs.
- Working with young people and their extended families.
- Delivering individualised support packages.

Requirements
We Need People Who Have:
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and developments relating to vulnerable adults, including people with ADHD, ASD and substance misuse issues.
- Knowledge of issues affecting clients, including behaviour management, mental health, leaving care and neurodiversity.
- Understanding of safeguarding, health and safety procedures, risk management and tenancy management.
- Experience of working within a supported housing environment or relevant social care setting.
- Experience of supporting people with complex support needs.
- Experience of working with statutory agencies and partner organisations.
- Strong communication, recording, report-writing and IT skills.
- The ability to build positive working relationships with clients, families, colleagues and partner agencies.
- The ability to work independently, use initiative and prioritise a demanding workload.

It Would Be Advantageous If You Have:
- Experience of working within supported housing services.
- Knowledge of legislation and best practice relating to housing support, safeguarding, ADHD, ASD, learning disabilities and substance misuse.
- A qualification in Health and Social Care or a related subject.
Please note that an Enhanced DBS check is required for this role and you must be able to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays where required.
