Supported Housing Officer - £30,090.11 (rising to £30,922.81 after successful probation) - Lewisham, London

As a Supported Housing Officer at Quo Vadis Trust, you'll play a vital role in helping adults with mental health needs, experience of homelessness or care backgrounds build brighter, more independent futures.
No two days are the same. One day you could be welcoming a new resident into their home, completing assessments and creating support plans. The next, you'll be helping someone access benefits, develop life skills or prepare for independent living.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support a caseload of residents with varying support needs
- Develop personalised support plans with clear, achievable goals
- Complete client inductions, assessments and risk assessments
- Provide housing, welfare and benefits guidance where appropriate
- Maintain accurate records using the Inform client management system
- Carry out property, room and health & safety inspections
- Support residents to maintain safe, clean and welcoming living environments
- Respond professionally to incidents and challenging situations using de-escalation techniques
- Work with external agencies to deliver the best outcomes for residents
- Assist residents as they move towards independent living
- Provide cover across other QVT schemes when required

The Benefits
- Salary of £30,090.11 per annum
- Rising to £30,992.81 after successful probation
- Full-time role working 35 hours per week on a rota

The Person
We're looking for someone who is caring, organised and resilient, with the ability to build positive relationships and remain calm under pressure.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults or people with complex needs
- Knowledge of mental health, recovery-focused support or homelessness services
- An understanding of Universal Credit, housing or homelessness legislation would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
- Confidence working independently, including lone working
- A flexible approach and willingness to travel between QVT schemes when required
- A commitment to safeguarding, equality and delivering person-centred support
