SUPPORTER RETENTION AND INSIGHTS OFFICER | £26,850 - £31,600 per annum

Full Time - 37.5 hours over 5 days a week (Monday to Friday).
Location: Winsley, Wiltshire (with Hybrid working agreed)

At Dorothy House Hospice Care, every donation, fundraising event and supporter interaction helps us provide compassionate care for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families. As our Supporter Retention and Insights Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in helping us grow and strengthen our fundraising community by delivering insight-led supporter journeys that inspire loyalty, increase engagement and maximise long-term support.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines analytical thinking with creativity, enjoys working collaboratively, and wants to help build a sustainable future for hospice care across our community!

WHAT WILL THE ROLE INVOLVE?

  • Developing and delivering supporter retention strategies across a range of fundraising audiences including individual giving, community fundraising, events, regular giving, philanthropy and legacies
  • Leading data analysis and reporting activities, providing insights and recommendations that support informed fundraising decisions
  • Creating, coordinating and enhancing supporter journeys that improve engagement, retention and lifetime value
  • Managing a central supporter marketing and stewardship schedule to ensure communications are well-planned, relevant and supporter-focused
  • Developing stewardship approaches including supporter thanking, recognition and impact reporting
  • Working closely with CRM, Fundraising, Communications and Digital teams to improve segmentation, campaign performance and supporter experiences
  • Identifying opportunities to improve engagement through testing, innovation and insight-led approaches
  • Supporting fundraising events and activities while helping to raise the profile of Dorothy House within the community
  • Supporting and supervising fundraising volunteers, including involvement in recruitment and training activities

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

  • Good standard of Maths and English
  • Confident using databases and Microsoft Office tools such as Excel to generate and present reports.
  • Experience of complex data analysis and using data for decision making
  • Can demonstrate excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Results driven and able to demonstrate a creative and innovative approach to problem solving
  • Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle

Desirable requirements:

  • Experience working towards and delivering revenue targets
  • Previous fundraising or sales experience
  • Experience of working with volunteers
  • Experience of supporter retention or engagement
  • Experience delivering supporter journeys both online and offline
