RSK Geosciences, an RSK Group company, is recruiting for Surface Water Management Consultants to join the teams based in Helsby, Derby, Coventry, Birmingham, Bristol, and Hemel Hempstead. This is a full-time, permanent position.
The Geosciences team delivers consultancy and design services to a wide range of external clients including engineers, house-builders, oil companies, and local authorities. Responsibilities
- You will be an enthusiastic environmental professional capable of providing environmental advice regarding surface water management, environmental incidents on a wide range of active construction sites across the UK depending on your office location.
- Production of environmental management plans including Pollution Prevention and Surface Water Management Plans for construction sites.
- Auditing construction sites for compliance with Surface Water Management Plans.
- Advising clients on meeting UK regulatory requirements including the preparation of permits applications and exemptions.
- Liaison with regulators including the Environment Agency/National Resources Wales.
- Response/management of environmental incidents including, fuel/oil spillage, silt discharges, and effluent discharges.

Qualifications And Experience
- This role is suited to someone with between 5 and 10 years minimum experience in the environmental sector.
- Able to deliver projects and work within a multi-disciplinary consultancy.
- Able to work closely and confidently with clients and regulators.
- A track record in managing time and resources effectively and within budget.
- Full UK driving licence.
