Our Gynaecological Surgical Solutions portfolio, including NovaSure endometrial ablation, MyoSure tissue removal systems and related hysteroscopic technologies, is designed to enhance clinical outcomes, reduce the need for more invasive procedures and improve quality of life for women.

Hologic is now looking for a Surgical Sales Specialist to join our Gynaecological Surgical Solutions team in the UK, covering the South West territory. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the adoption and growth of our gynaecological surgical solutions across your region, working closely with clinicians, theatre teams and other healthcare professionals.

What To Expect

  • Drive sales growth and market share for Hologic's Gynaecological Surgical Solutions portfolio across the South West territory.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with gynaecologists, theatre teams, procurement professionals and key healthcare stakeholders.
  • Become a trusted partner to customers, supporting the development of minimally invasive treatment pathways that improve patient care and service efficiency.
  • Deliver impactful product demonstrations, education programmes and clinical support that drive confidence, adoption and utilisation.
  • Create and execute strategic territory plans, focusing on priority accounts and high-potential growth opportunities.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while continuing to expand existing customer partnerships.
  • Analyse market activity, customer insights and competitive trends to inform territory strategy and maximise performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Clinical, Customer Service and Commercial teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience and shared business objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven success in medical device sales, ideally within surgical, theatre-based or procedural environments.
  • A relationship-focused approach, with the ability to build credibility and trust with healthcare professionals and key decision-makers.
  • Strong understanding of the NHS landscape and experience working with clinicians, theatre teams, procurement and other healthcare stakeholders.
  • A strategic and commercially minded approach to territory planning, account development and business growth.
  • Strong communication, presentation and listening skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Ability to analyse sales trends, market dynamics and account opportunities to identify areas for growth.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams to achieve shared objectives.

Salary: £40,000-£55,000 gross pa base + commission (OTE £60,000-£82,500) based on target performance, with the opportunity to earn above target for those who exceed their goals. The final offer will depend on experience, skills, and alignment with internal pay structures. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including pension and insurances.
