Exciting Opportunity for a Data Analyst at UCLH IPC Team

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a data analyst to join the Infection Prevention & Control Team (IPC) at UCLH. Our IPC team is a large and active body of multi-professional staff consisting of IPC clinical nurse specialists, an epidemiologist, a dedicated surveillance team, microbiologists, virologists, and clinical scientists.

Reporting Structure

Reporting to the lead nurse for surgical site surveillance and the Senior Nurses for Infection Prevention and Control, the successful candidate will work closely with the IPC team to gather, analyze, and report infection data including bloodstream infections, surgical site infections, and support the IPC nurses with collecting, reporting, and interpreting data from clinical audits.

Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for:

  • Collecting, reporting, and analyzing data that will drive improvements in infection prevention and control across the Trust.
  • Having excellent interpersonal abilities, good organizational skills, and the ability to influence others.
