About The Role
Survey Interviewers are sought for a temporary local council project in Hamilton, paying £13.45 per hour. Working between 7:00am and 6:00pm across up to two weeks from 6th October 2026, the post involves visiting residents at home, or standing at a transport hub or retail store, to conduct short surveys on behalf of the council. Confident communication, a friendly manner and comfort with outdoor work are essential, along with the ability to represent both agency and client professionally. Applicants should be approachable, reliable and able to engage politely with members of the public throughout each shift.

Hours
Between 7:00am and 6:00pm
The Role
You will be visiting residents at their homes, alternatively you could be based at a transport Hub or local retail store, conducting short surveys on behalf of the local council. You will be representing both our agency and our council client, so a professional and friendly approach is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit residential properties within an allocated area
- Speak with residents/members of the public and complete surveys accurately
- Explain the purpose of the survey clearly and professionally
- Record responses using the required process/device
- Maintain a polite and professional manner at all times
- Work independently while meeting daily targets
What We're Looking For
- Confident communication skills
- Comfortable approaching members of the public
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Previous door-to-door, survey, field-based or customer-facing experience is desirable but not essential
- A professional approach and the ability to represent a council client appropriately

Working Hours & Pay
- Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
- Working Hours: Between 7:00am and 6:00pm
- 7.00am – 9.00pm Transport Hub
- 10.30am – 5.30pm Retail Store
- 10.00am – 6.00pm Door to Door
- Project Duration: Up to 2 weeks, subject to project requirements.
