Surveyor - Housing Landlord
Salary: £42,123 - £43,149
Location: Barrow Town Hall

About this opportunity
Are you an experienced surveyor with a passion for delivering high-quality housing services? We are seeking a Housing Landlord Surveyor to join our Housing Property team and help ensure our homes remain safe, compliant, and well maintained for our tenants.
This role is part of the Housing Landlord Service. You will be responsible for:
- Managing a portfolio of housing assets
- Undertaking property inspections
- Diagnosing building defects
- Specifying repairs
- Overseeing remedial works

You will play a key role in maintaining decent homes standards and ensuring value for money across our housing stock. You will also play a key role in ensuring the service meets regulatory standards and maintains its strong building safety, quality, and compliance position.
Requirements
We are looking for a qualified surveying professional with experience in:
- Social housing
- Local government
- Residential property management
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of:
- Building construction
- Maintenance
- Housing legislation
- Health and safety regulations
