About The Role
Are you a Surveyor looking to play a key role on one of the UK's largest and most complex infrastructure projects?
Balfour Beatty are working in partnership with the MEH Alliance and we are seeking a Surveyor to join the Hinkley Point C project. You will support the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC installation works on the Hinkley Point C project. This role is focused on dimensional control, surveying activities and ensuring equipment and systems are installed in line with design specifications and tolerances.
What you'll be doing
- Provide dimensional control support across Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC works.
- Carry out surveys of installed equipment and systems.
- Produce survey reports and as-built records.
- Review survey and design data to support installation activities.
- Support progress reporting and site surveys.
- Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment.
- Attend site meetings and collaborate with project stakeholders.
- Ensure all surveying activities are carried out safely and in accordance with project requirements.
Who we're looking for
Essential
- HND, Level 5 qualification or above in Surveying or a related discipline.
- Experience working within construction, engineering, mechanical, electrical, infrastructure or major project environments.
- Experience using surveying equipment such as Total Stations and digital levels.
- Ability to produce and interpret survey data and reports.
- Understanding of quality requirements, industry standards and CDM Regulations.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to obtain a security clearance

Desirable
- Experience on large-scale infrastructure or nuclear projects.
- Experience working within Joint Venture or Alliance environments.
- Starnet experience.
- Offshore or heavy industrial project experience
