Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Surveyor / Analyst at Airtech Analysis Ltd. The Surveyor / Analyst will carry out asbestos surveys, air monitoring, and bulk sampling in accordance with UK regulations and company procedures, including planning appointments, reviewing site information, and preparing survey strategies each day. The role involves collecting and documenting site data, taking samples safely, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols. The Surveyor / Analyst will produce clear technical reports, communicate findings to internal teams and clients, and support project management of asbestos removal activities when required. The role also includes ongoing professional development, adherence to quality standards, and regular coordination with colleagues and supervisors via remote tools.

  • Candidates should possess strong surveying and analytical skills, including experience with asbestos surveys, air monitoring, and bulk sampling.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant UK asbestos legislation, health and safety regulations, and best practice guidance (e.g., HSE, UKAS standards).
  • Candidates should possess skills in technical reporting, data recording, and documentation with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with clients, site personnel, and internal teams.
  • Candidates should possess solid organisational and time-management skills to manage multiple remote assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency with standard IT tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, report-writing software) and remote collaboration platforms.
  • Relevant qualifications such as BOHS P402 (or equivalent asbestos surveying certification) and experience in asbestos consultancy or environmental surveying are highly beneficial.
  • A valid UK driver’s license, willingness to travel to sites when required, and commitment to safe working practices are preferred.
