Asset Surveyor – Social Housing – £300 to £350 per day Umbrella

Venn Group are recruiting for an experienced Asset Surveyor to support an Investment Delivery team across the Liverpool and Warrington area. This Asset Surveyor role will focus on stock condition surveys, reactive surveys, HHSRS, void inspections, quality assurance inspections and wider asset management surveying duties.

This Asset Surveyor opportunity is ideal for someone with strong Social Housing surveying experience who is confident inspecting properties, identifying repair and investment requirements and supporting planned investment programmes.

As Asset Surveyor, you will support the delivery of property surveying services across housing stock. The Asset Surveyor will undertake inspections, gather property condition information, support forward planning and help ensure works are delivered to the right quality standards. You will work closely with the Investment Delivery team, contractors, customers and internal stakeholders to support effective asset management, investment decisions and property compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out stock condition surveys across Social Housing properties
  • Complete reactive surveys and identify required repair works
  • Undertake HHSRS assessments and property inspections
  • Carry out void inspections and quality assurance inspections
  • Support forward planning surveys and investment programmes
  • Assist with contract management surveys and contractor performance monitoring
  • Consult with customers and provide clear updates on works
  • Identify property defects, investment needs and health and safety concerns
  • Produce accurate survey records, reports and recommendations

About you

  • Experience working as an Asset Surveyor, Stock Condition Surveyor, Building Surveyor or Repairs Surveyor
  • Strong Social Housing surveying experience required
  • Confident completing stock condition surveys, HHSRS and property inspections
  • Good understanding of repairs, maintenance and planned investment works
  • Strong communication skills when dealing with customers and contractors
  • Able to manage a varied surveying workload across Liverpool and Warrington
