Surveyor - London - Valuation & Advisory

The Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen to join Cushman & Wakefield’s City Office Valuation team in London. We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Surveyor to join our established team, specialising in the valuation of office space across the City of London.

You’ll work across a varied portfolio of office assets, providing valuation and advisory services to a diverse range of clients including banks, institutional investors, property companies, developers and private investors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor looking to develop their valuation career within a leading global real estate advisory business, gaining strong exposure to the London office market and working alongside experienced professionals in the sector.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Undertaking valuations of office buildings and office space across the City of London
  • Assisting with valuations for secured lending, financial reporting, acquisitions, disposals and strategic purposes
  • Preparing investment valuations, cash flows and development appraisals
  • Researching and analysing office rental, investment and transactional evidence
  • Developing a strong understanding of the City office market, including rents, yields, transactions and market trends
  • Supporting senior team members on larger and more complex valuation instructions
  • Preparing valuation reports and supporting documentation
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Supporting pitches and wider business development activity
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across Valuation & Advisory and the wider Cushman & Wakefield business

What We’re Looking For

  • MRICS qualified or working towards qualification
  • Experience within commercial property, ideally with exposure to office valuation
  • An understanding of investment valuations and/or development appraisals
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Good Excel skills and confidence working with financial information
  • Excellent attention to detail and report writing skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple instructions and work effectively to deadlines
  • A genuine interest in the London office market

Previous office valuation experience would be beneficial, but we would also consider candidates with broader commercial valuation experience who are looking to specialise further within the City office sector.
