Surveyor / Senior Surveyor - Commercial Property Management (12 Month FTC)

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits
Beach Baker is delighted to be partnering with a leading commercial property consultancy to recruit a Surveyor or a Senior Surveyor on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial property management professional to join a highly regarded team and take responsibility for a varied portfolio of commercial assets. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to clients and occupiers while overseeing compliance, service charge management and day-to-day property operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of a commercial property portfolio.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, occupiers and key stakeholders.
- Managing service charge budgets, expenditure and reporting.
- Overseeing statutory compliance and health & safety requirements across the portfolio.
- Coordinating planned maintenance programmes, contractors and building works.
- Reviewing leases and dealing with landlord and tenant matters, including alterations and licences.
- Authorising supplier payments and managing client funding requests.
- Supporting property acquisitions and due diligence exercises.
- Driving occupier engagement and customer experience initiatives.
- Managing and supporting junior team members where required.

About You
- Experience within commercial property management.
- Strong understanding of landlord and tenant matters.
- Experience managing service charge budgets and multi-let commercial assets.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance and property operations.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- MRICS desirable but not essential.
- A proactive and commercially minded approach.
