Surveyor / Senior Surveyor – Design for management
Central London | Hybrid Working
The Opportunity
One of the UK's leading real estate consultancies is looking to appoint a Surveyor / Senior Surveyor into its highly regarded Development Set Up team.
This is one of the most unique opportunities currently available within commercial property management.
Rather than managing completed assets, you'll work alongside developers, asset managers and project teams to shape how major developments will operate before they become live. You'll be involved from the early stages of the development lifecycle, advising on everything from estate management strategies and operational planning through to mobilisation, service charge structures and occupier experience.
The team works on some of the UK's largest and most prestigious regeneration and mixed-use developments, partnering with leading developers, institutional investors and global real estate owners to ensure assets are operationally ready from day one.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
