Join Newsteer’s award-winning Occupier Advisory team and help businesses make better property decisions.

We’re looking for a Surveyor or Senior Surveyor to join our award-winning Occupier Advisory team. You’ll advise occupiers across the UK, combining commercial insight, property expertise, and practical delivery. You’ll work across the full client journey, from understanding requirements and assessing property options through to financial appraisal, negotiation, and completion.

The role offers meaningful responsibility within an expanding team. Depending on your experience, you’ll support or lead instructions, develop trusted client relationships, and help turn advice into practical outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work across a varied range of occupier instructions, including:

  • Acquisitions and disposals
  • Lease renewals, rent reviews, regears, and surrenders
  • Property searches, inspections, and market analysis
  • Options appraisals and financial comparisons
  • Negotiations with landlords and advisers
  • Managing instructions from initial brief through to completion
  • Coordinating clients, agents, and specialist advisers
  • Building client relationships and understanding their wider business objectives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
