The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Suspension Design Engineer to join our growing team at the Multimatic Technical Centre Europe (MTCE). You will play a hands-on role in the design, development, and validation of advanced suspension systems and components for a range of high-profile automotive programmes.

From concept through to production, you will be involved in creating innovative design solutions, building and testing prototypes, and supporting our customers with world-class engineering documentation and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & model suspension components and assemblies using Siemens NX CAD software, from initial concept through to production-intent design.
  • Create and maintain engineering records, including drawings, bills of materials, and design documentation to the highest standards.
  • Plan and conduct physical testing of engineering prototypes, analysing results and feeding findings back into the design process.
  • Ensure all components and assemblies meet applicable regulatory, industry, and customer-specific standards.
  • Present design solutions and technical reports to both internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams, supporting programme delivery and contributing to continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities.
  • Uphold quality management standards (e.g. IATF 16949, ISO 9001) and maintain the highest levels of information security and prototype protection.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
