As a Sustainability Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our commitment to environmental, social, and economic sustainability across our global student housing portfolio. Working under the direction of the Sustainability Manager and the Global Head of Risk and Sustainability at the Dot Group, you will provide high-quality Sustainability related data across our global portfolio to enable informed decision-making.
You demonstrate the capacity to shape, change, promote commercial acumen and ownership, responsibility and integration of the Yugo values while meeting the organization's strategies and objectives.
Responsibilities
Sustainability Strategy
- Support the execution of our Sustainability strategy defined by leadership aligned with industry best practices and global standards.
- Conduct regular assessments of the company's environmental impact and identify opportunities for improvement alongside the Sustainability Manager.
Data Analysis
- Maintain and support the 3rd party relationships for our Sustainability platforms, Measurabl, RealPage and ESPM.
- Work with energy brokers and utility companies to ensure data frequency and quality across sustainability platforms.
- Collect and analyze sustainability and utility data (Energy, Water & Waste) from various sources to measure performance against established goals and benchmarks, identifying and addressing utility gaps and overlaps monthly.
- Prepare dashboards, reports and presentations to communicate sustainability KPI metrics and insights to internal and external stakeholders.

Reporting & Disclosures
- Prepare Sustainability data, analysis, and draft content to support internal and external sustainability reporting for Sustainability Committees.
- Manage the Performance data required for the annual GRESB submission.
- Support the Sustainability Manager in the preparation of reports, disclosures and regulatory submissions.
- Provision of underlying sustainability KPI data to support internal stakeholders (e.g. GSA Coral Article 8 reporting).
- Respond to Sustainability-related data requests under the direction of the Sustainability Manager, including from investors, 3rd party partners and internal stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with internal global teams, external partners, and suppliers to support implementation of Sustainability initiatives.
- Support external engagement activities by preparing materials, analysis and briefing notes, and attending meetings where appropriate.
Compliance
- Ensure that material Sustainability data risks to Yugo’s business objectives, e.g., relating to sustainability data, are identified, assessed, managed, and reports prepared for review for the appropriate governance groups.
- Stay current on sustainability regulations and industry standards that impact sustainability data/reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant requirements.
- Prepare and submit sustainability reports, responding to inquiries from regulatory bodies, investors, and other stakeholders.

Innovation and Education
- Support the design and delivery of Sustainability -related training and awareness programmes for employees and residents.
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance data quality, reporting efficiency and Sustainability performance tracking.
- Support developing and implementing the documentation and framework for managing Sustainability risks.

Qualifications
Experience & Knowledge Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or related field.
- 3 + years of experience in sustainability analysis/reporting related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and sustainability metrics.
- Knowledge of relevant sustainability frameworks, such as GRESB, Fitwel, BREEAM.
- Strong understanding of utility reporting and consumption globally.
- Excellent Excel and analytic skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional, global team.
Desirable
- History with a fast-growing business.
- Real Estate Property Management/Student Housing Industry.
- Experience with GRESB/Fitwel analysis and reporting structures.

Salary
- Min: GBP £37,000.00/Yr.
- Max: GBP £39,000.00/Yr.
