About the role

We're looking for a Sustainability Analyst to join our Climate team within Tesco's Quality function. You'll use data-driven insights to shape our sustainability strategy, build robust business cases, and support key decision-making across the business. Working closely with teams across Property, Transport, Business Units, and ESG Finance, you'll help ensure climate data is effectively managed, reported, and embedded into governance processes. Join a passionate team driving Tesco's Net Zero ambitions through best-in-class analysis and insight.

You will be responsible for

  • Owning the reporting process and driving continual improvement:
    • Working with colleagues in hubs to collect quarterly emissions data and presenting insights & results to the relevant teams.
    • Participate in the annual assurance process.
  • Providing the data to report our performance when required to feed into our sustainability KPIs, public third party rankings (e.g. CDP), as well as press, customers and NGO inquiries.
  • Leading the processing of supplier payments for the Climate workstream.
  • Engaging suppliers on data collection in annual engagement campaign.
  • Engaging the wider group sustainability team through monthly connects, and working alongside subject matter experts in climate, nature and forests, with opportunities to step into projects across the wider sustainability team.
  • Building relationships across the business, and passionately promoting the sustainability agendas.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
