Position: Legal, Policy & Public Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $150 - $350/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Reconstruct legal, compliance, or policy-related business slides in Microsoft PowerPoint, ensuring content accuracy and professional standards.
- Critically analyze slide content and structure, enhancing visual storytelling and data visualization while preserving legal and policy definitions.
- Document a detailed rationale for every change made and any changes intentionally rejected.
- Edit, refine, and format executive briefings, policy options analyses, and public consultation materials for clarity and factual integrity.
- Explain approach to content hierarchy and exhibit selection, supporting choices with legal and policy logic.

Requirements
- Have strong relevant experience in legal practice, regulatory affairs, public policy, or the public sector.
- Demonstrated ability to create, edit, and enhance executive-level PowerPoint presentations for senior decision-makers in legal or policy domains.
- Strong practical skills in slide reconstruction, data visualization, and narrative-driven presentation design.
- Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking abilities, and precise written communication skills.
- Expertise in accurately explaining message hierarchy and content structuring within legal and public policy contexts.
