Role Purpose
The Sustainability Coordinator supports the delivery of Fullers Foods International’s sustainability and ESG strategy by coordinating projects, managing data and supporting reporting across environmental and social workstreams. Working closely with the ESG Manager and wider Technical team, the role ensures sustainability initiatives are effectively tracked, implemented and communicated across customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
The Sustainability Coordinator plays a key role in embedding sustainability into day-to-day operations, supporting compliance with customer requirements and legislative obligations, while strengthening reporting accuracy and programme delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of sustainability initiatives aligned to the company’s ESG and growth strategy.
- Coordinate sustainability projects across environmental and social workstreams, ensuring milestones and actions are tracked and delivered.
- Provide structured administrative and project support including documentation, meeting preparation and policy updates.
- Support initiatives related to community engagement, food waste reduction and redistribution, carbon emissions reduction and environmental improvement.
- Monitor progress against sustainability targets and customer commitments, ensuring clear reporting of performance.
- Lead data collection for environmental and sustainability reporting, sourcing information from internal teams and external suppliers.
- Implement and maintain reporting processes, ensuring data accuracy, validation and quality assurance.
- Enter and manage sustainability data within customer platforms, ensuring compliance with packaging, environmental and high-risk commodity reporting requirements.
- Produce management reports and dashboards to support internal reviews and ESG reporting.
- Support supply chain mapping and ESG risk assessments of supplier partners.
- Monitor customer policy requirements and maintain up-to-date tracking of compliance against sustainability standards.
- Proactively highlight legislative or regulatory developments impacting sustainability obligations.
- Build positive working relationships with internal teams, customers and supplier partners.
- Support communication of sustainability initiatives across the organisation.
- Represent sustainability projects and programmes when required in customer or supplier forums.
