🌱 Sustainability Consultant / Senior Sustainability Consultant – London
💰 Up to £50,000 DOE + benefits
📍 London | Hybrid – minimum 3 days in the office
🕐 Full-time, Permanent
Zest4Talent is working with an award-winning sustainability consultancy that is looking to appoint a Sustainability Consultant or Senior Sustainability Consultant to join its growing team in London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to work on meaningful, technically interesting projects across the built environment, helping clients deliver genuinely positive sustainability outcomes. You'll work across areas including Whole Life Carbon, Circular Economy, BREEAM, Net Zero and sustainability planning, collaborating with specialists across sustainability, nature and ecology.
What you'll be doing:
- Undertaking Whole Life Carbon modelling and assessments
- Developing Circular Economy strategies across a range of projects
- Producing WLC assessments, Circular Economy Statements and Sustainability Statements
- Managing BREEAM pre-assessments, workshops and certification
- Managing small to medium-sized projects, or elements of larger projects
- Working directly with clients, consultants and other project stakeholders
- Providing practical sustainability advice throughout the design and development process

What we're looking for:
- Around 3–5 years' experience for Consultant level or 5+ years for Senior Consultant
- Experience within sustainability, engineering, architecture or the built environment
- Knowledge of Whole Life Carbon and Circular Economy principles
- Experience of BREEAM assessments and the certification process
- Understanding of sustainability planning and associated reporting
- Knowledge of areas such as NABERS, Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard and Passivhaus would be advantageous
- BREEAM Assessor/AP or other relevant sustainability accreditation would be beneficial, but isn't essential
- Strong client-facing, communication and project management skills
