3-month internship
We are looking for a highly organised, enthusiastic and mission-led individual with an educational background in architecture, engineering or construction (AEC) who is keen to gain valuable workplace experience through an internship. The successful candidate will play an important role in an emerging business and help shape its future.
Role summary
This role suits a proactive and ambitious individual who wants hands-on experience, working alongside our lead consultants across our six core service lines to gain practical insight whilst assisting our major projects in the UK. During the internship you will build strong technical foundations while developing real consulting and client skills, giving you a clear pathway into sustainability and AEC roles that are defining the future of climate resilience.
Technical skills (required)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) or a related built-environment discipline
- Understanding of environmental assessments and certifications (BREEAM, LEED, WELL, etc.)
- Basic understanding of whole life-cycle carbon assessment for buildings
- Awareness of circular-economy principles and their application to construction
- Confidence working with data using Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
- Ability to review, interpret and summarise technical information clearly

Professional skills (required)
- Strong written communication skills for reports, presentations and emails
- Comfortable engaging with clients in meetings, workshops and calls
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proactive and able to work independently, using initiative when problems arise
- Adaptable and open to evolving project needs and ways of working
- Genuine interest in climate-intelligent buildings and a mission-led mindset toward sustainability
Desired experience
- Experience contributing to sustainability reporting and environmental assessments
- Experience assisting with whole life-cycle carbon assessments
- Exposure to carbon-reporting tools such as OneClick LCA or similar platforms
