JOB TITLE: Sustainability Technical Project Manager
FUNCTION: Procurement
About the Role
Our client is looking for a Sustainability Technical Project Manager to help drive the transformation of sustainability across their global supply chain.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-impact projects that support companies' sustainability ambitions, working with suppliers, procurement teams, internal departments, and international stakeholders across the Group. You will play a key role in delivering projects that improve environmental performance, strengthen responsible sourcing practices, and support a more sustainable future.
We are looking for a proactive project manager who enjoys turning strategy into action, creating structure from complexity, and delivering measurable results through collaboration and influence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver sustainability projects across Procurement, ensuring clear outcomes, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.
- Drive execution of the Procurement sustainability roadmap, translating strategic objectives into practical actions and measurable results.
- Develop and manage project plans, governance forums, reporting, risks, dependencies, and escalation activities.
- Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support sustainability initiatives, including decarbonisation, traceability, compliance, and responsible sourcing programmes.
- Provide clear reporting, tools, and guidance to enable sustainability delivery across sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations.

Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in Procurement or Supply Chain, delivering sustainability, responsible sourcing, decarbonisation, traceability, and supplier sustainability initiatives within a complex business environment.
- Strong project or programme management experience, with the ability to deliver complex cross-functional initiatives and manage priorities, risks, dependencies, and business requirements.
- Practical knowledge of supply chain sustainability principles, supplier due diligence, sustainability compliance, performance improvement, and supplier engagement activities.
- Good understanding of Scope 3 emissions, carbon reduction approaches, and sustainability reporting principles, with the ability to translate sustainability objectives into measurable business outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with experience influencing suppliers, cross-functional teams, and senior leadership to drive actions and deliver results.

Qualifications
- Project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, Agile, or equivalent) desirable.
- Sustainability, ESG, Procurement, or Supply Chain certification desirable.
