An innovative bank of choice for private and institutional clients, our independently owned Firm is one of the best-capitalised banking groups in the world, managing close to CHF 300 billion and operating from over 25 offices across 4 continents.

With a history spanning over 230 years, Lombard Odier is an investment house providing a comprehensive offering of discretionary and advisory portfolio management, wealth services and custody. Working within the Sustainable Investing team, the Sustainability Research Analyst will play an integral role in the implementation, development and ongoing enhancement of Lombard Odier’s proprietary sustainable investment framework. By ensuring credibility and consistency, this function is central to the firm’s sustainable investment offering and entails interactions with investment teams and other internal stakeholders across the firm’s asset management and private banking activities. Initial responsibilities will focus on the application of the framework to sustainability assessments, with scope over time to take ownership of specific workstreams related to the framework’s development and implementation.

Your Role

  • Assess companies and labelled debt instruments against the firm’s proprietary sustainable investment framework using company disclosures, third-party sustainability data, and other external sources; author written assessments for internal and client-facing use
  • Contribute to the continued development of qualitative framework criteria through sector and value chain research; support improvements to data-driven framework criteria by leveraging external datasets and internal tools.
  • Monitor developments in sustainability regulation, standards, frameworks, and emerging sustainability themes
  • Work with investment teams and other internal stakeholders to explain assessment outputs, support new investment ideas and respond to sustainability-related due diligence or client requests
  • Contribute to improving workflows and documentation related to the sustainable investment framework and investment processes, including through the introduction of AI-enabled workflows
  • Generate research insights and collaborate with the investment stewardship team on company engagement

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
