SVP FP&A – SaaS

Renumeration: £200-250k + bonus/equity
Location: London – 3 days a week

The role

The VP, FP&A will lead the Group's financial planning, performance management and analytical capability, providing the insight required to support growth, investment and operational decision-making.

Working closely with the CFO, CEO and senior leadership team, the role will also help modernise FP&A through better data, technology, automation and AI.

Performance & Business Partnering

  • Provide senior financial partnership across the organisation, translating business performance into clear insights and actions.
  • Partner with commercial, product, services and corporate functions.
  • Drive understanding of revenue, margins, costs and operational performance.
  • Strengthen KPI ownership, cost discipline and resource allocation.
  • Challenge assumptions and support key commercial decisions.

Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead the Group's planning, forecasting and performance management framework.
  • Own budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
  • Improve forecast accuracy, visibility and planning efficiency.
  • Lead Group P&L analysis, scenarios and financial modelling.
  • Deliver high-quality executive and Board reporting.

Data, Technology & AI

  • Develop a more integrated, technology-enabled FP&A capability.
  • Strengthen financial and operational data and reporting.
  • Develop scalable BI, analytics and visualisation.
  • Improve integration of customer, commercial and financial information.
  • Accelerate automation and practical use of AI across FP&A.

Corporate & Strategic Finance

  • Provide financial insight and modelling to support the Group's strategic agenda.
  • Own corporate models and long-term financial scenarios.
  • Support strategic investment and capital allocation decisions.
  • Lead Board and shareholder performance analysis.
  • Translate complex financial performance into clear executive narratives.

M&A & Value Creation

  • Provide financial leadership across acquisitions and post-deal value creation.
  • Lead acquisition modelling, valuation and investment case analysis.
  • Support diligence and transaction execution.
  • Track performance against acquisition cases and synergy plans.
  • Support strategic and cross-functional value creation initiatives.

Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing, scalable FP&A organisation.
  • Lead teams across operational FP&A, corporate planning, data and analytics.
  • Establish consistent Group-wide standards and ways of working.
  • Develop talent and strengthen commercial and analytical capability.
  • Create an FP&A operating model capable of scaling with the business.
