About the opportunity
Via is partnering with a global SaaS business looking for an SVP of Marketing to lead its entire marketing organisation through its next stage of growth. This is a substantial leadership role spanning multiple business units and products, with responsibility for a marketing budget of more than $50M. You'll own the strategy and execution required to improve customer acquisition, strengthen positioning and build scalable growth across both self-serve and sales-assisted SaaS motions.
The business is investing heavily in AI-first products and is looking for a marketing leader who understands how modern SaaS companies acquire and convert SMB and mid-market customers. You'll need to be equally comfortable setting strategy with senior leadership and getting close to execution. This isn't a role for someone who operates purely at board or management level – the successful candidate will understand the mechanics of digital acquisition, demand generation, positioning, content, martech and measurement in detail.
What you'll be doing
- Lead the overall marketing organisation across multiple SaaS products and business units
- Own marketing strategy, execution, performance and organisational development
- Manage and optimise a marketing budget of more than $50M
- Improve CAC, LTV and overall marketing ROI across the product portfolio
- Scale customer acquisition beyond paid search into display, social, video, community and emerging channels
- Build sophisticated multichannel acquisition strategies
- Strengthen the connection between product positioning, messaging and demand creation
- Partner with Product Marketing to communicate clear value propositions to defined ICPs
- Build and scale a B2B demand generation engine
- Own approaches to lead generation, scoring, qualification and routing
- Partner closely with Sales to improve pipeline generation and conversion
- Develop strategies spanning self-serve and sales-assisted customer acquisition
- Strengthen content strategy and execution across web and other channels
- Improve digital customer journeys and conversion
- Develop the marketing technology stack alongside Engineering
- Make informed build-versus-buy decisions across marketing technology
- Partner with Data teams on attribution, instrumentation, dashboards and performance reporting
- Use data to understand channel effectiveness and allocate investment
- Partner with business unit leaders on go-to-market strategy
- Shape positioning and competitive differentiation
- Explore how AI can improve marketing execution, productivity and customer acquisition
- Build, lead and develop a high-performing international marketing organisation

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We're particularly interested in leaders who have helped scale interesting, high-growth SaaS businesses and can demonstrate meaningful impact on customer acquisition, pipeline, revenue and marketing efficiency. Experience marketing to SMBs – particularly micro and small businesses – would be highly relevant. Previous experience in document technology, productivity software, workflow automation, e-signature, business software or adjacent SaaS categories would also be valuable, but isn't essential.
The leadership style we're looking for
This role requires someone who can move comfortably between strategy and execution. You'll need to be able to set the direction for a substantial global marketing organisation while still understanding what's happening at campaign, channel and funnel level. We're looking for a leader with a hands-on mindset: someone willing to build, test and solve problems themselves before creating the team and processes required to scale them. You'll be comfortable challenging existing assumptions, experimenting with new channels and operating where the answer isn't always obvious.
Why apply?
- £165,000–£300,000 salary range, with flexibility for exceptional candidates
- Stock options
- Fully remote working
- Leadership of the entire marketing organisation
- More than $50M in marketing investment to optimise and scale
- Significant influence over company-wide growth strategy
- Ownership across multiple SaaS products and business units
- Opportunity to shape an AI-first approach to marketing
- Work across both self-serve and sales-assisted growth models
- Direct partnership with senior business, Sales, Product, Engineering and Data leaders
- Professional development support including courses, conferences and learning resources
- Comprehensive health and wellbeing benefits
- Family-friendly and flexible working culture
- Support for charitable initiatives
If you've led marketing at scale within B2B SaaS and have a track record of combining sophisticated digital acquisition with demand generation, positioning and commercial growth, we'd like to hear from you.
