Rakuten Viber
Rakuten Viber is one of the most popular and downloaded apps in the world. Working with us provides a unique opportunity to influence hundreds of millions of our users and to be part of the journey that makes us a super-app. Our mission is to make people's lives easier by enabling meaningful connections, from precious moments with family and friends, through managing business relationships to pursuing their passions.
Viber is the daily messaging and calling app across our core markets. We're building the super-app layer on top of that foundation: Payments, eSIM, Viber Plus, Dating, and a growing small & micro business ecosystem.
As SVP of Product Marketing, you will report to the CEO and act as the company’s owner of B2C marketing - highly focused on Product Marketing. You and your global teams will own go-to-market across Viber’s consumer product portfolio: core communication (including the OpenAI partnership) & subscription products (Viber Plus, Viber Dating, eSIM and more - defining the product story and how each is positioned, launched, and grown globally.
The ideal candidate is able to showcase a successful track record as a highly effective product marketing leader, one that lives and breathes product marketing able to articulate features into stories and user-journey’s into experiences. A master communicator that understands how users think, feel and act - and how to translate those into insights that drive engagement and the business forward. A type of manager that challenges conventions, leading by example and raises the bar on execution. The right candidate wins through precision and creativity, leveraging Viber’s massive audience and existing channels, not mass media spend.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
