SVP, Product Owner, Transfer Agency Investor Experience

This role is located in London.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Drive the product strategy, roadmap and delivery for Transfer Agency Investor Experience capabilities, with a focus on investor-facing digital channels (e.g., web portals and digital onboarding) that improve investor satisfaction, self-service, digital adoption, and business outcomes.
  • Partner with business, operations, design, technology, and client stakeholders to shape strategy, influence priorities, and drive decision-making across channel enhancements and strategic initiatives spanning the end-to-end investor journey.
  • Serve as Product Owner for key investor experience products and capabilities, with accountability for product direction, prioritization, design, delivery, adoption, and ongoing optimization, balancing investor and client needs with business, technology, regulatory, and risk priorities.
  • Translate investor, client, and operational needs into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs within an Agile operating model, ensuring cross-functional teams understand the problem being solved, intended outcome, and measures of success.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams of engineers, UX/design, product specialists, and business partners to deliver secure, accessible, and scalable digital experiences, while proactively managing dependencies, risks, and alignment with regulatory and brand standards.
  • Use voice-of-investor insights, client feedback, service metrics, digital analytics, and emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), to identify friction points and new opportunities, quantify potential value, and prioritize a roadmap that delivers measurable improvements to the investor experience.

  • Sufficient years of overall experience is required, with demonstrated experience operating in senior product, digital, or technology leadership roles.
  • Product Owner (or Product Manager) background with a strong track record of setting product direction, managing complex roadmaps, and delivering digital products and measurable outcomes within an Agile environment is required.
  • Background in Operations, Product, or Engineering roles in fund servicing is a plus, with an understanding of Transfer Agency and the broader investor servicing lifecycle strongly preferred.
  • Experience building or owning consumer-facing technology (e.g., web portals, mobile-responsive experiences, digital onboarding/registration, authentication, and self-service workflows) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic decision-making skills, with experience driving digital product enhancements, journey redesign, platform modernization, and measurable outcomes using data and analytics. The ability to balance client value, business priorities, technology considerations, risk, and regulatory requirements is required.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, UX/Design, Operations, and other disciplines within an Agile environment, including managing complex priorities and dependencies.
  • Strong internal and external client-facing and stakeholder management experience is required, including the ability to represent end-user (investor) needs, influence senior stakeholders, communicate product strategy, and drive adoption.
  • Demonstrated experience working with and utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI-enabled tools in product development is desirable, including identifying relevant use cases, applying AI to improve product development and investor experiences, and understanding the importance of responsible AI adoption, data privacy, security, risk, and appropriate controls.
