Job Description
As SVP, Strategy and Regional Strategy Lead, EMEA, this role serves as the senior strategic leader for the region, shaping strategic direction, elevating craft excellence, and driving growth across healthcare and life sciences clients. This role partners closely with global and regional leadership teams to ensure strategic work is locally relevant, globally aligned, and commercially impactful. The role combines client leadership, business development, talent development, and strategic innovation across integrated healthcare communications engagements.

What You’ll Do
- Lead regional strategy development across healthcare and life sciences accounts, guiding omni-channel brand strategy, commercialisation planning, customer experience, and integrated communications programs for HCP and consumer audiences.
- Drive new business growth through pitch leadership, executive-level client presentations, strategic workshops, and thought leadership that strengthens Klick’s reputation across the EMEA healthcare communications market.
- Build, mentor, and scale high-performing strategy teams across EMEA, including recruiting, performance development, staffing planning, and coaching senior strategists across multiple therapeutic areas.
- Partner with Creative, Client Services, Medical Strategy, Science & Regulatory, and global strategy leadership teams to deliver integrated strategic recommendations that support measurable client and business outcomes.
- Champion strategic innovation and AI-enabled ways of working by evolving Klick frameworks, introducing new approaches to brand and ecosystem strategy, and driving consistent strategic excellence across the region.
Qualifications
Required:
- 15+ years of experience in healthcare communications, pharmaceutical strategy, life sciences consulting, or integrated agency strategy roles with demonstrated leadership across regional or global accounts.
- Proven experience leading and growing strategy teams within agency, consulting, or healthcare communications environments, including mentorship, performance management, and organisational scaling responsibilities.
- Demonstrated success leading new business pitches, senior client workshops, and commercial growth initiatives for pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare brands across EMEA markets.
- Experience developing omni-channel brand strategy, commercialisation strategy, customer experience planning, or integrated communications programs across HCP and consumer audiences.
- Strong executive communication and facilitation skills with experience presenting strategic recommendations to senior client stakeholders, cross-functional leadership teams, and global partners.
- Comfortable leveraging AI as a regular part of strategic planning, collaboration, workflow management, and decision-making processes.

Desired:
- Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
- Experience leading strategy across multiple therapeutic areas including specialty, rare disease, oncology, immunology, or consumer health categories.
- Experience building regional strategic frameworks, methodologies, or innovation capabilities within fast-growing healthcare communications or consulting organisations.
- Existing network and relationships within the EMEA healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences ecosystem.
- Experience partnering with global teams across North America, EMEA, and APAC regions on integrated healthcare brand initiatives and commercialisation efforts.
- Consulting, transformation, or ecosystem strategy experience supporting organisational growth, market expansion, or capability building initiatives.
