The Faculty of Future Technologies and Design requires an experienced professional to assess a range of candidates using National Occupational Standards at level 2 & 3.
Responsibilities:
With extensive knowledge and occupational competence in the field of Mechanical Engineering and the operation of SVQs, the successful applicant will monitor candidates’ progress, maintain attendance and assessment records, and ensure appropriate communication with the candidates’ line management.
Requirements:
The College is seeking the right person with an organised and enthusiastic work ethic. You will have the ability to communicate and engage with a range of stakeholders such as internal employees, external organisations, and our own learners. The mentality to be a team player, along with the capacity to work on their own initiative and contribute positively to the School of Engineering, is also key to the role.

If you have experience assessing SVQs in Mechanical Engineering, a relevant HNC or equivalent, and an SVQ Level 3 along with the skills described, we would like to hear from you. Candidates with experience in electrical/multiskilled engineering in addition to mechanical would be of particular interest.
