SW Support Specialist

Role: Software Support Specialist
Location: Dundee (Hybrid) Grade: 10
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Provide software support to NCR’s financial Self-Service software products
- Maintain ownership of software support investigations, debugging to product, component, or configuration level—including recreating issues in a lab environment when necessary
- Coordinate communications between all relevant teams as part of support investigations
- Understand and drive customer-focused requirements to deliver satisfactory solutions to reporting technical teams
- Manage multiple support incidents of varying complexity and stages of investigation, prioritising customer satisfaction
- Create knowledge articles within NCR’s Knowledge Base

REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in software support or a related field
- Knowledge of McAfee ePO, Encryption, and Endpoint Security Solutions
- Familiarity with SQL Server or another database system
- Understanding of Active Directory (AD) and load balancers
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience/knowledge of ATM solutions is a plus
