Experienced SWA Cable Worker – £20ph – Immediate Start

Location: Dewsbury

Rate: £20.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am–4:00pm

Contract: Approx. 3 weeks initially, with potential to extend

Start: Immediate

Aqumen Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our Dewsbury-based client for an experienced SWA Cable Worker for an immediate start.

This is a hands-on role with approximately 90% of the work involving glanding and tailing Steel Wire Armoured (SWA) cables, followed by cable tying and dressing.

We're looking for someone with proven practical experience in SWA cable work who can hit the ground running.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous hands-on experience glanding and tailing SWA cables
  • Experience cable tying and dressing
  • Good attention to detail
  • A strong work ethic and reliable approach
  • The ability to work efficiently and safely

Electrical qualifications or an ECS card would be advantageous, but relevant hands-on SWA experience is essential.
