Swansea Community Farm is the only city Farm in Wales, and is focussed on improving wellbeing by reconnecting people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities with their food, their environment and each other.

Green Sparks Traineeship

• Salary: £10, 491 pa (£25, 878 full time equivalent)
• Hours: 15 hours (2 days) per week for one year
• Location: Swansea

Swansea Community Farm is looking for a Green Sparks Trainee to work with Farm staff on their volunteering projects.

This role is funded through their National Lottery-funded Green Sparks Project, which is focussed on developing their community’s green skills and awareness of climate change and climate resilience.

You will join the Farm team for a year, learning about everything it takes to run a community farm and support the amazing volunteer teams who look after it.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who loves the outdoors and learning new things but is struggling to break into this field.
