Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Swim Instructor role. The Swim Instructor will deliver safe, engaging swim lessons to children and families, following established teaching plans and adapting instruction to individual abilities.

Responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating swimming techniques
- Monitoring swimmers’ progress
- Reinforcing water safety
- Maintaining a positive atmosphere in the pool area
- Setting up and checking equipment
- Adhering to all health and safety standards
- Communicating with the admin team about progress
- Supporting administrative tasks related to class scheduling and attendance

Qualifications
- Strong skills in Swim Instruction and Swim Lessons, with experience teaching diverse age groups and ability levels.
- Solid Swimming and Aquatics skills, including confident stroke technique and understanding of water safety principles.
- Lifeguarding skills, including recognized lifeguard certification or willingness to obtain them.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with children, families, and colleagues in a professional manner.
- Ability to maintain a safe learning environment, including risk awareness, incident reporting, and adherence to safeguarding practices.
- Relevant teaching or coaching qualifications in swimming or sports instruction are beneficial.
- Previous experience in a swim school, leisure center, or similar aquatic environment is an advantage.
